What’s Michigan during Christmas?
Michigan is a beautiful place to be all year long, and we’d like to claim it – although we may be biased (we doubt that). But, when the holidays are in full swing, Michigan is transformed into an enchanting charm that’s difficult to describe. Everyone is a bit jollier, a bit more friendly, and perhaps a little warmer – enough that it’s obvious. The chances of getting a “white Christmas” are excellent, given that Michigan has a snowy thing.
The average of Michigan experiences about 64 inches each year, and the time Lake Effect snow or blizzards are invited at the event, often it’s more. One year the storm that swept through brought greater than 355 in (that’s 29 feet) of white powder. Michigan is a beautiful place to visit during winter, and for us, it’s a blessing that winter is the time of Christmas which is why it’s the ideal Christmastime vacation destination!
