Glorify The Lord, Living a Life of Victorious

Brothers and sisters, in regards to glorify the Lord, what do you have to say?

Is it to endure the adversities? Is it to live through the suffereings? Is it to glory in your own infirmities?

In regards to glorify the Lord, what did the Bible says?

We are not asking for our own glorification, because we are nothing compare to God. Indeed. But if we cannot show any trace of glory on ourselves, what are we offering to the Lord? It is because His glory is make known on his believers.

9:23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

1 Corinthians

6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

It seems that if our body are suffering in sickness, lack of, or disaster, and what we do are purely sufferance with super endurance, where have our body glorified the Lord? In the eyes of unbelievers, we are just an unhealed sick man, a poor man lack of needs, and one that continue living a bitter life.

Not only that, if we were conquered by the sickness, lack of, or disasters, we will put the name of God in shame. It is because the unbelievers will heard and fame of God saying, "The God this man believes in is unable to save His own people!"

14:15 Now if thou shalt kill all this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of thee will speak, saying,
14:16 Because the LORD was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness.

20:13 But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.
20:14 But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, in whose sight I brought them out.

Therefore, whenever we are in adversity, we need to conquer it! Only by this can we bring glory to God.

11:4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.

We see that in order to gloify God, we are required to conquer adversity. Then let's talk about how we can live a life of victorious.

1 Peter

5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Devouringness, whether it is sickness, or lack of, or disasters, are coming from the devil. The Bible has taught us to resist stedfast in the faith. How should we resist?

6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

What is included with the whole armour of God will not be discussed here. However, there's one equipment I found that are rarely being used. And that is the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Without a sword, how do you kill; do not killing, how do you conquer?

Great! Now I have leared the Bible by heart. I've hold onto my sword. How should I use it?

2 Corinthians

1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

Ans: Using great faith, coordinate with God's promises and strike. You will then be unstoppable in front of the wicked!

I'll give an example: Suffering in sickness?

5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen!

Direct Hit!

Suffering in the lack of whatever?

4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen!

Second Strike!

The wicked minds are to frame you?

1:19 And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.

For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen!

Three Hits Combo!

By doing such, and of your faith, you will be healed, full of supplies, and the wicked will have no power over you. Because:

14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Therefore, when others seeing you miraculously conquered your life, God will be glorified in your body!

5:26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.

Living a life like this, you are truly glorifying the Lord, and living a life of victorious!
